Swedesian Education Program

  • Swadeshians is a team of bright minds wishing to make a positive impact to the society which discovered their potential. It comprises a group of talented, hard working and vision oriented individuals who discovered the common factor in them, of promoting Higher Education as their life time mission. The team is supported by reputed personalities from academic and administrative wings of the society.

  • The core idea of ‘Swadeshians’ is the brainchild of a bunch of post graduate and doctoral students of the revered temple of learning, the ‘Indian Institute of Technology Madras’. The thought was to establish a solid working group to inspire and motivate the students of rural villages who lack proper guidance and financial backing to realize the dream of their life. The methodology of operation is to identify candidates with strong academic performance but lost in darkness due to the inadequacy of needed resources. The group came into limelight by January 2009 and started contributing to change the future of academically deserving but financially lacking students of the villages in Kerala.

  • 4 of our scholarship holders completed B.Tech with top ranks in kerala university( 2 first ranks and 2 third ranks)  and all are placed in different organizations  like BARC(chemical Ist rank),L&T(Mechanical 3rd rank), IBM(computer sciene 3rd rank) and Inidan postal deptment.(Applied electronics -1st rank-she got placement with TCS also)

  • From 2015 onwards, the above Project has been integrated with TEJUS. The team who started this initiative and team TEJUS will work together so as to take the reach to maximum needy students from Kerala. We hope that, such move will enable more students to follow their dreams and to add to the progress of this nation.

  • Some of our scholarship holders completed B. Tech\MBBS with top ranks and all are placed in different organizations. Under this scheme we are currently supporting close to 15 students at prestigious institutions.
